Once we know the reason for the garment, we follow a five-step process to guide your selections and personalise your look. This process is based on everything we have learned about garment construction since 1999, and is what sets us apart. 

Step 1: Construction and style

First we consider the overall look: the shape of the garment, what you will be wearing it for and the right construction for your natural proportions. Then we move on to details such as lining, canvassing and pockets. 

Step 2: Fabric and finishes

To get the fabric selection right, we narrow down your options by colours that enhance your complexion, texture that accentuates the shape of the suit and cloth that is durable enough for the purpose of the garment. Finally, you select complementary finishes including buttons, cuffs and monogramming.

Step 3: Measure and fit

Custom clothes should move effortlessly with you – and that’s why this step is the most in-depth. We take detailed measurements, paying attention to proportion, length and balance. Then once you are measured up, we test the fit against your natural movements to create the basis of your pattern. 

Step 4: Maintenance

At our adjoining alterations studio, many repairs we perform are due to incorrect care. To ensure this doesn’t happen to you, we explain storage, dry cleaning (you can overdo it), ironing and letting your garments breathe. You don’t have to remember all this, because we give you a copy of The Suit Book that outlines these details too.   

Step 5: Capsule wardrobe

With your measurements and style preferences on file, building out your wardrobe is a straightforward task. With the right mix of garments for different occasions – all in complementary styles and colours – getting dressed becomes simple and one of the most enjoyable parts of each day.

Generally, two to three fittings are required to ensure the suit fits perfectly. The first fitting is usually for a rough draft or initial fit, the second for adjustments, and the third for final tweaks and approval before delivery.

Absolutely! A bespoke wedding suit allows you to customize every detail, from the fabric and color to the lapels, buttons, stitching, lining, and more. We will work with you to design a suit that matches your style and wedding theme perfectly.

During your consultation, we will guide you through the fabric options that best suit your wedding style, season, and budget.

For your fitting, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that fits well underneath the suit (e.g., a fitted shirt and trousers). This will help the tailor get an accurate picture of how the suit will fit on your body.

Yes, we offer bespoke suiting for your entire wedding party. We work with the groom and groomsmen to ensure a coordinated look that is both cohesive and exclusive. Each groomsman will experience the same bespoke service to ensure the suits fit perfectly and complement the groom’s style.

The cost of a bespoke wedding suit depends on factors such as fabric choice, design complexity, and additional customizations. During your consultation, we’ll provide a detailed quote based on your selections. We strive to offer options that fit various budgets without compromising on quality.

Once your suit is finalized and approved at the last fitting, any major changes may be subject to additional costs. However, minor adjustments like altering sleeve length or jacket fit are typically included. If you need any changes after pickup, we will work with you to ensure you’re satisfied with the final result.

In the unlikely event that your suit doesn’t fit after the final alterations, we offer a remake policy to address any fit issues. We will work with you to ensure that the suit fits as perfectly as possible. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.

Yes, we offer rush services for those who need their wedding suit in a shorter time frame. While we recommend booking in advance to allow for the full bespoke experience, we understand that some timelines are tight and will do our best to accommodate your needs. Additional fees may apply.

Definitely! Our bespoke suits are versatile and can be designed for any formal occasion, including black-tie events, galas, or corporate functions. The process and quality are the same, and we’ll tailor the suit to suit the occasion’s style and formality.
